FAQ
Does this only work for MetaTrader software?
No — MT4/MT5 is one integration among several. Any Windows .exe can call the same validate endpoint directly, via the .NET SDK, or via the Go and Python SDKs if that fits your stack better.
How does device binding work for a desktop app?
A hardware ID is generated on first run and sent with each validation call. The license activates on up to the number of devices you set per plan; resetting a device's activation is a dashboard action, not a support ticket to us.
What competitors don't cover this?
The main MT4/MT5-licensing competitors are scoped to the MetaTrader terminal itself — desktop/.exe distribution outside of it isn't something they cover today.
